We are very proud to share that Alice Plutino was invited to speak at TEDxVerbania in December 2025. In this talk, she explores a deceptively simple but profound question: does color really exist, or is it something constructed by the human brain?

Drawing on insights from color science, neuroscience, and visual perception, the talk explains how our experience of color emerges from the interaction between light, matter, and the human visual system. It also reflects on how scientific approaches to color help us better understand the complex relationship between physical reality and human perception.

The talk is in Italian, but English subtitles are available on YouTube.
