Research
The founders of ImaGeese have collaborated for many years, developing a deep-rooted expertise in areas like color science, film digitization, and color management.
The articles and projects we’ve worked on together reflect our shared dedication to these fields, each project reinforcing our passion for advancing digital color science and preservation. This journey has built the foundation for ImaGeese, where we’re committed to creating cutting-edge tools for the conservation and restoration of visual heritage.
Funded Research Projects
ImaGeese is an innovative project inspired by and developed from the DREAM-Film initiative, originally based at the University of Amsterdam. DREAM-Film focuses on preserving and analyzing photographic and cinematographic heritage through advanced digital techniques.
Building on this foundation, ImaGeese aims to expand these efforts by creating specialized tools for restoration, digitization, and color management, helping to safeguard visual history and make these resources accessible to a wider community.
